![]() ![]() ![]() We will have to wait next week to know more if Atomic Heart will be featured during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase.Ītomic Heart is still in development for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. 252 comments As the release of sci-fi shooter Atomic Heart nears, numerous questions around the project remain - which its developer Mundfish seems disinclined to answer. It could be true that development of Atomic Heart might have been slowed down and it could be delayed even further, but as long as the studio officially states that the release is still within this year, the rumors that the source from the Polish website claims will remain as rumors. Mike Wilson FPS fans have been keen to see just what Mundfish has been cooking up with their Dystopian Soviet shooter Atomic Heart for a while now. With Russia now being sanctioned due to their invasion with Ukraine, it might have affected development in Mundfish. The Poland site did mention that after they interviewed their source again with heavier questions, the individual has now stopped replying. The information that this individual has given is even in question as they are now doubting if it is accurate at all. The screenshot has no identifying information that would serve to protect the source, but this in turn also does not verify their source is who they say they are, or their “connection” to Mundfish and Atomic Heart. The conversation with the Polish site’s source’s validity is now being questioned since it is based on a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with someone claiming to be in the know at Mundfish. They claim that they do not have any offices in Poland and they do not have any connections to the country in the first place. The studio was quick to state that Atomic Heart is still going to launch later this year and even questioned the validity of the source. Were in the East Indian Trading company hundreds of years ago.Update: Mundfish seems to deny the supposed delay of Atomic Heart - Nibel JMundfish Responds I'm seeing streets and tunnels being renamed because they were named after people that I am seeing children's books taken off shelves here because they hail from the 50's and have lines in them that could possibly be considered offensive. I am seeing my kid bringing home spelling exercises from school that have pro alphabet people texts in them. What I am seeing in the real world is my boss refusing to put a Xmas tree in the lobby because it might offend people of another religion. I'm not going down any rabbit holes here. I'm not on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or any of that crap. The only social media I'm following is youtube gaming channels and I only watch the news in the morning while eating breakfast. Get off social media, stop watching 24/7 "news" channels. (Image credit: Mundfish) Atomic Heart was a bolt from the blue when its first trailer dropped in 2018, showcasing a shining Soviet retrofuture FPS that seemed like it was learning all the right. Rogers didn't get cancelled for putting his feet in the same "pool" as a black man, and Hogwarts Legacy didn't get cancelled because of JK Rowling. Star Trek didn't get cancelled for an interracial kiss, Mr. The fact that you believe it is is, ironically, also the result of being on social media too much. Cancel culture is scaring companies and politicians into conformity. That's how I used to feel but the problem is all this toxic waste is seeping into the real world at an alarming rate. ![]() Personally I'm hyped for Atomic Heart, and couldn't give less of a ♥♥♥♥ who developed it. Don't get me wrong, the crazy people are out there, but if not for the megaphone of the internet, you probably wouldn't ever come face to face with them. All this craziness goes away if you turn off social media. Atomic Heart is set for release on the same day this year, raising eyebrows." "On 21st February 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a presidential decree recognising the independence of separatist regions in eastern Ukraine, which preceded military action less than 72 hours later. " The timing of the event (game promotion) coincided with international backlash to the new anti-LGBTQ laws in Russia" Has now aimed their focus on Atomic Heart by (partly Russian) developer Mundfish. Eurogamer, Europe's biggest gaming website who actively boycotted Hogwarts Legacy by never even mentioning the game on their site, let alone review since it indirectly enriched " an openly hateful person". ![]()
